Mapping Ocean Change: Exhibition Opening

  • New Glasgow Society 1307 Argyle Street Glasgow, Scotland, G3 8TL United Kingdom (map)

Join us for the opening of Mapping Ocean Change, an exhibition about climate-driven changes between Scotland and the Arctic at New Glasgow Society.

Mapping Ocean Change is a project that bridges scientific research into climate-driven changes between Scotland and the Arctic, with lived-experience insights into environmental changes that are currently taking place in marine environments and coastal areas.

This exhibition brings together insights from marine biologists, interviews with people who live and work in marine and coastal environments around Scotland, artwork by artist Jennifer Argo and portraits by photographer Daniel Tulloch.

Marine biologists from the Mapping Ocean Change team will be at the opening to answer climate-related and marine biology questions over a glass of wine!

Register free for the opening event here.

Mapping Ocean Change is supported by the Natural Environment Research Council, coordinated by artist Jennifer Argo, in collaboration with Creative Carbon Scotland, marine biologists and data scientists from Strathclyde University, and photographer Daniel Tulloch.
