“It’s a balancing act, we have to understand. I mean, I spent the last - I’ve just retired; for the last 33 years I was the captain on oil tankers. People don’t normally grasp the amount of carbon we are burning. It’s absolutely obscene. I spent the last 5 years up on Greenland, supplying fuel to Greenland, and you can see massive environmental impacts up there.

You can see ice retreating; the season’s short; the local’s have seen it in their lifetime: the sea is warming, the cod’s returning. I’s the whole environment up there. It’s changing faster than it is down here.”
